The Malaysian Robocon 2008 has finally ended. There has been a change in trend this year where UTM lost their champions to MMU. UTeM out of nowhere turns out first runner up in the competition. Second runner up was grant to UPM. MMU with their outstanding strategy and great robots are able to curb strategy used by UTeM. UTM on the other hand suffered technical error which costed their championship.
The lost of UTeM was not suprising as it had been used several times in the competition. Hence it was slightly predictable. UPM's manual robot was among the best manual on the arena so was MMU.
MMU will be representing Malaysia for Robocon at Pune India.

Poor UTM. Their mechanism show some improvement. But it seem that their robot are so unlucky this year. For MMU, their peformance slightly increase than last year. But it still a long jurney to achieve ABU champion. Other U also shows good improvement especially UTem. Congratulation UTem. Hopefully Robocon 2009 will be more interesting.
