Hypermilling

Raising fuel price is pushing us to the limit. The rise is unavoidable as the world is highly dependent on fuel since centuries ago. Adapting this change is not easy as it requires the change of life style and technology. As a consumer what we can do is to change the way we use fuel. Hypermilling is the term used to describe the change of lifestyle to maximise the efficiency of fuel consumption.

It is not as bad as we thought. Such as turning off the air conditioner when you are waiting for the traffic light to turn green also helps to save a penny from your pocket. Stop pampering yourself from now on and accepting the fact that the fuel price is not as cheap as it was ten years ago.

Investing in new technology has been proven to reduce the consumption of fuel. However it can be a little bit risky when the technology is still in trial. Toyota Prius is one of many examples of affordable and worthing technology that you can own. Although it is a little bit costly for the time being but it offers greater satisfaction in the future.

Food Price Hikes as Global Fuel Price Rises

Food crisis has struck the world by storm, countries such as the United States has began to build stock piles of food to prepare for the worst. The shortage of food supplies is mainly contributed by unusual global climates which has direct effect on the overall production of food. The increasing demand on food causes unreasonable hikes in the food price.

Of course we could not blame the rise in the food price on the shortage of food supplies alone. Rise in the global fuel price is also one of the main reasons behind the hike in the food price recently. Fuel is used in various sectors especially transportation sector which has been heavily rely on it since decades ago. The use of fuel in agriculture sector has also become significantly important these days as many farmers rely on modern machinery to carry out planting and harvest.
